Platelet-rich plasma (PRP)
A small sample of your blood is spun to concentrate platelets and growth factors, then injected into the injured tissue under imaging guidance. The concentrate is prepared and used during the same visit.
Who it helps
PRP is most useful for stubborn tendinopathy, partial tendon and ligament injury, and mild to moderate osteoarthritis — particularly in patients who want to delay or avoid joint replacement.
Recovery
Expect a few days of soreness as healing begins, followed by a guided loading program. Improvement builds gradually over six to twelve weeks.
What this may include
- Platelet-rich plasma joint injections
- Tendon and ligament regenerative injections
- Viscosupplementation for knee osteoarthritis
- Combined regenerative and rehabilitation protocols
